Here you have a fun and colorful vintage gem of a watch, for sale, obviously.

This exact watch was featured in Hodinkee Bring-A-Loupe in 2017 and Watchsteez.com was the seller of the watch back then. I've put up the links to Hodinkee and the advert from Watchsteez who presented the watch very well and also brought along some nice pictures.

However, a little summary of the watch.

LeJour was the name choosen by Yema when entering the American market and this specific watch is the lovely Yachtingraf reference 9312. This model was introduced in 1966 and lived until early 70's.

38mm case in steel. Caseback with fully visible engravings, both inside and outside.

Valjoux 7730 with the correct Continental Time Co. engraving on the bridge, the same with the inside of the caseback, correct markings.

Crown, original and correct for the model.

Bezel, original and correct for the model. Although the red at 12 is probably added later.

Dial, the best part about this watch is the dial. The colorful (Red/Blue/White) oversized 5-minute countdown brings a smile to your face everytime you glances down on your wrist. Dial is in my opinion in perfect condition without any typical ageing signs and such, just really really good.

Hands, the lume on the hands are intact with all luminous material intact.

The bracelet I've been using on the watch is a steel Certina bracelet from the era which fits in my mind perfectly so that will come together with the watch. Servicehistory is unknown. Timekeeping and powerreserve is meassuered to -8sec per 24h and 45h running time. There are one thing worth mentioning and that is that the chronograph resets 0,5sec off. Why haven't I fixed it? Since I'm not bothered by it I though I'd wait until a service was needed but since that day hasn't occurred yet, I haven't had it fixed.

Was €3250, now €2800
inc. shipping. world wide with DHL Express.

Watch is located in Sweden within EU.
A couple of hundred references here on OF, other national and international forums.

Thanks OF for the space!
