Thank you very much for your responses! I have another question: I don’t know any trusted watchmaker to check the movement, and it hasn’t been serviced in a long time. There are also some micro-scratches on the watch. Do you think it’s worth getting a full service at Omega, even though the price is high?
If you want to wear your watch sometimes and desk divings, not necessarily right now. If you really want to enjoy it daily, waterproof and all, at one point you will have to do it.

And it would be such a surprise to discover anything else but a genuine one.

Thank you, indeed it's very similar to mine. I really like the dial as well. I just wanted to make sure that this "version" of the dial is authentic haha. Beautiful watch, by the way, I really like the strap!
The bracelet in my photo is the "speedmaster" style bracelet from the black-dial "Peter Blake" edition of the SMP 300M, which is a sister to the blue SMP with the exact same case, so the two bracelet styles are interchangeable. I fully appreciate both SMP 300M bracelets; I just decided to change it up and no regrets, 'blue on Blake' looks awesome and wears very comfortably. Note that it tapers to the clasp.

You also have this option. Ref. 2252.50 is the black-dial 'Peter Blake' edition of the midsize SMP 300M and it bears the same bracelet design for 18mm case lugs. For the midsize watch the bracelet would be OMEGA 1612/932 (p/n 020ST1612932) and it can be ordered from OMEGA / SGUS (Swatch Group US). It's a direct fitment and OMEGA will not bat an eye to service the bracelet with your watch as it is a legitimate bracelet option for the SMP 300M.

Having an SMP 300M with unknown service history serviced by OMEGA is always a good option, at this point. Nesbit's in Seattle is also a good option for SMP 300M service. ✌️

Here's an idea:

How much did you save by buying used? I'll bet it was a lot more than a service.

After doing a genuine service, you will have no more doubts about the watch, it will look fabulous and you'll know that you'll have many years ahead of you with your new friend.

I got my local watchmaker to service mine without doing any polishing, that was much cheaper than sending it of to Omega. But I might do that in the future, because I want my lovely watch to look pretty.

I don`t worry to much about micro schratches. Do you think James Bond does when he jumps out of planes or catch the bad guy? 😉 My Seamaster has a lot of scratches and welding spatter, but I love it all the same.
