Legit OEM Strap?

Hey everyone! Need a little help. I purchased a Planet Ocean recently and I was told the orange rubber strap was OEM. It is marked "caubu main" on the inside which made me doubt the authenticity. Not much info on "caubu main" online. Is it legit? If so, why does Omega sign some straps that way?

Thanks for any input!

I think that actually reads causu main, on my OEM TH alligator strap it also says that, i.e. handmade.

What's handmade in a rubber strap that comes out of a machine where hot goop goes in to a mold and comes out a finished strap? Maybe the fact that some person is operating the machine is enough to call it handmade. Seems a stretch.

This is strange ... In French « cousu main » means hand stitched. « Causu » doesn’t exist in French.

Stiching is done by hand. "cousu main" is stamped in the original straps. The OP's looks like a fake one. There is no stitching and a digit is missing between 3 and 2. It should be 8 digits.

The quality of the strap at the case end is terrible. As already stated fake, I would now be concerned about the watch.

Judging by the quality of this finishing.. I bet there is no way it was made by Omega.

I'm also going to agree that it's a fake. Here's mine, purchased from the OB. And yes, it's 20mm whereas yours is 22mm. It's cousu main, not causu main.

I'm not even going to ask why your clasp looks fully polished, including on the inside. You know the answer.

Meme-Dwellers picture has stitching on the strap, which would fit with “hand stitched”. The OP doesn’t have stitching and is the words are spelled wrong as stated above. I would be checking the authenticity of the watch OP. Where did you buy it from?

Could be the white balance on the photo, but the color looks totally wrong too - I thought these straps were a deeper orange - a signifier of pure rubber, and not injected silicone like many of the fakes.
