Just wondered if people think there will be any more LE moonwatches seeing at the Apollo XVII one was for the 'last lunar mission'?

 

Every year, sometime twice.

 

They put out LEs for anniversaries, not for the original achievements. There have been Apollo XI LEs since 1989, and now appear every 5 years.

 

Just wait a couple of year. Apollo 11 50th is just around the corner. Can't wait.

 

I''m calling it now. "The Eagle Has Landed" in dayglo text right in the middle of the dial.

 

One small step and a moon boot print on the case back

 

I see a ceramic moon watch coming at some point....

Imagine : case as a GSOM, but black dial and 1863 caliber. Grey Nato strap....
