    Hello Forum,

I would like to dedicate this thread to the Omega series 1XX.041. So let us forget for a moment our Speedmaster’s :D, and let us share informations and pics about these cheap but enjoyable models.
I got interested to these references after discovering the beautiful Omega “Grand Sport” characterized by a check dial.
Then I found that other interesting dial variations exist and I started to chase after them.
After collecting some examples I could observe some peculiarities, one among all, there are many different cases each one with different lug length.
After a lot of words, here are some pics of mine.

CF31645E-FA1A-4433-8615-1E305F0D14C7.jpeg When I first realised realised that I could actually afford a classic vintage Omega, looking on eBay rather than the windows of Austin Kaye, it was the (then) affordable 165.041 & 166.041 series that I was drawn to. Both had the same reliable 552/565 movements like the more expensive Seamasters of the late 60s/early 70s.

I like the fact that they wear bigger on my wrist and I’m happier with a stainless steel or gp watch that won’t break the bank if I lose it, or worse.

I've shown this before but we are on topic so here it is again. My 135.041 Seamaster Geneve dating to ca. 1968. I like this watch very much.

As in ‘run of the mill' for an Omega? Great case, dial and (probably) movement.
On OF we see so many exotic watches that sometimes we forget how stylish and reliable these are.

Nothing wrong with run of the mill Genèves, especially when the condition is ok :) I’m totally with you.

Let me add one more - even though it’s not in my possession anymore, I know it’s having a lovely time on the wrist of a very nice fellow OF member :)

Italian catalogue showing a 166.041 with rivet bracelet, presumably a 1156.

Was curious what strap/bracelet was typically fitted to the steel model. As a side note, what car does the headlight belong to?
