It was just announced by Eric Wind @georgetownhoya that the Christies Speedmaster 50 roadshow will be at the Omega Boutique, Beverly Center this coming Monday. @Taddyangle and I are coming up from San Diego. I suggest an informal GTG at noon to see the Speedys on display, maybe bring a few of our own , and have lunch immediately after. Chime in here if you plan to be there and join in the fun !!

 

A definite maybe for me. I'll have to arrange some logistics. I assume we can eat somewhere in the mall or nearby without worrying about a reservation. But if anyone has suggestions in the area, fire away. I think noon will work.

I'd like to propose the meet-up start at noon, at the Omega Boutique, after spending time oogling the Speedmaster 50 pieces, and sharing some of our own pieces, those who want to eat can head over to California Pizza Kitchen for a late lunch, say 1:30pm, If I can get a reasonably close headcount, I'll call in to get a big table setup for us.

If someone wants to make a counter proposal, please do so, I'm flexible.

 

I will give it my best shot to be there. I'm not as postive as @Jones in LA. I'll give it 80%

There were many wonderful watches on display. In total 20 from the catalog of 50.

Best part of night was meeting other fanatics. Several were mad dogging (one one each wrist) their watches. Me included .
