Hi all,
I decided to offer to the forum my vintage Vulcain Cricket from the late 40s.
Reason for the sale is that, simply, I never wear it.

I got this watch locally from a fellow collector in summer 2024, as just serviced (no receipt), and very sparingly worn since then.

Original dial is very nice, fully readable, with even patina and distinctive Roman numerals at the cardinal markers. It's a no lume dial in all stainless steel case, pretty unusual. Original hands in good conditions.

The case is 34x42mm, in great conditions and probably unpolished. Serial number correctly engraved on the back, original unsigned crown, original pusher at 2 o'clock. Lug width 18mm.

Venerable 120 movement works fine in all its functions.
This movement has two mainsprings, one for the watch time and one for the alarm.
You can wind both springs with one crown, respectively clockwise and counterclockwise.

I propose the watch on a good quality deep brown italian leather strap, worn only for testing, and a generic stainless steel buckle

Considering conditions and the overall good functionality I believe that €1500 shipped and insured everywhere within EU is a fair and well-balanced asking price.
Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Payment via bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is obviously possible.

I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following links both as buyer and seller, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay can be provided if needed:

I have tried to provide photos taken in different lighting and environmental conditions so you can get an idea of the overall genuine originality and condition of this watch.
But, before pics, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
