From a local market. Ref 2848-1, CAL 491, Serial number 14,6 million what i believe is from 1955. Runs strongly with perfect timekeeping. It was a bit pricey, around 50 USD
Sweden has always been a good market for Omega. During the fifties and sixties we had a very strong economy in the country. We were cowards already in the forties and was out of the war. So then it was sold an incredible number of standard Omega watches in Sweden during that era. Many of today's small and local merchants have no idea about the reel value . So quite often you can really make a bargain with these (no watch) traders. But as they started using the internet and googling it becomes more difficult each year.
Well, I wouldn't say cowards, Ferengi would be more accurate since you sold weapons and materials to both sides
