Just wondering on expert thoughts on this large number of Omega parts and cases that have been offered. Seller informs me that he bought the remaining stock from an official Omega repair centre.

Unfortunately beyond my knowledge and needs but just letting people know.

Is this a genuine appeal for help or just another of your get rich quick by flipping what you don't own schemes? I wonder since it starts as a request then turns into 'letting people know'

Exactly. If you just want to let people know then post the seller's info.

No interest in flipping. Just showing what is still available for sale. Certainly not by me. The seller has no interest in selling individual pieces. He does not want me to give his details. Just for perusal.

Um.... Thanks. I really feel bad now that I posted this thread. I thought this was a place to talk and discuss all things Omega . Hopefully this is the case.

Well then, how much is he asking for for the lot? Reveal the number and you might get a few PMs. You can then forward the info of any interested party to the seller, he can get in touch and they’ll figure out the rest?

As I said, never met the person offering these, no idea what he is looking for and certainly do not want anything to do with them. This is just for information showing what is out there still.

But somehow you know him enough to say he doesn't want his personal details shared. Then what exactly is the point of all this? Pictures of parts hardly lets us know what is out there still. Any watchmaker with an Omega account could amass a similar pile of stuff.

Ah, I must’ve misunderstood. So this is not advertised on any platform anywhere and you couldn’t share a link accordingly?

I’ll take it all if I can flip it and get rich. I wonder if the dial fur my Connie is buried in there that’s all I need the rest I can sell and buy an island.

PS no offense meant I see flippers are attacking you but it looks like a cool lot I wonder what treasures are buried in it I had 15 minutes to look at watches today this is all I found

Undoubtedly a cool lot - quite a few interesting parts. Possibly unused dogleg cases, for example!

Sir, based on your avatar, we both appear to be gentlemen who have reached the age where a certain amount of wisdom is expected.

Certainly you can appreciate that simply posting pictures of something that is available for sale without contact information or price is not useful.

For example, here is a 911 G body for sale. Not mine and the price is unknown.

How exactly are these for sale, if it's not through you, and he doesn't want his contact information to be given out?

Why telepathy of course. If you are interested in these parts and think hard enough about wanting to make an offer on them, the seller will reach out.
