I would really not consider any ladies Patek an investment, especially a Quartz one

OK. - Even though this one appears to carry a much lower price tag than some of the other similar looking ones?

I am more for Omega for myself. Oh well, I will need to let this "investment" go. 😉

Stick with mechanical watches. In-house movements are the best bet (as in made by the same brand as the name on the dial) to retain value and possibly appreciate. Battery powered computer chips programmed to rotate hands are not true horology - they're technology.

Thanks for the tip. I kinda like the mechanical myself, as I like to wear a different watch everyday - just need to wind it up when I need it. Meanwhile, my old Quartz watches are all out of battery now - without having to wear them. That's not cool. Besides, technology changes all the time. Now it's battery, then what, in the near future?
