Ladies bracelet enquiry

Not a lot to go on, unfortunately. Part of an estate that I've been sifting through in the UK over the last week.

Bracelet doesn't look as though it's original, with hallmark initials WHWL.

Without opening up, I'm stuck as to where I can start. No numbers, codes or any detail.

Any direction would be warmly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. It’s a ladies Omega most likely from the early 60’s. Any info on the watch itself is stamped inside the case back- it will have a reference number which can give us more to go on. Bracelet is indeed aftermarket.
Ladies omegas of this era don’t hold much value. If they are precious metal, then about scrap value. If not, then about the value of a dinner for two without wine.

Nice little watch, can even make out the omega symbol on the crystal. I’ve been picking these up for next to nothing when I see a nice one to set aside for my daughter one day. It’ll look nice on a black strap with a similarly colored gold buckle.

Agreed. On a bracelet like this they are rather dated. But on a strap they are timeless. I know the current trend for ladies watches is larger, but my wife loves these vintage pieces (in addition to her larger pieces). Get it serviced and gift it to someone who will love it.

Thanks for your input. I thought it might be the case. A simple black leather strap as suggested will hit the mark.
