I haven't been very active here lately unfortunately. Life took over. Anyway, I needed expert help and what better place to ask for it.
So, I purchased this vintage Omega a few years ago and forgot about it in wife's locker. She was clearing it out today at the bank and handed it back to me. I wore it all day and at one point my 7 year old son asked me what year it was made in and I didn't know the specifics. I know that it has the cal 1020 Automatic movt - the day and date one - and it is late 70s (?).
I tried searching for a while and couldn't figure out. I know the dial is redone but I guess just want to know what year this case is and it's model number. And I know the bracelet would be wrong year as well so if anyone can tell me what year and model the bracelet is that would be awesome too (unless it is the right year? I don't know).
Most of the searches I have done usually refer to these older models as "vintage" and "late 70s" but don't really specify. And these are so many variations, I am lost.
