·In a hodinkee article about yet another forgettable new brand, a movement maker called Kenissi was mentioned. Citation: " (...)Kenissi, whose production of Tudor's in-house calibers are now represented in the majority of Tudor's catalogue..." and "the company has been manufacturing movements for Tudor since the launch of the first in-house Tudor calibers in 2015, with the release of the caliber MT5621 in the Tudor North Flag."

Did something got lost in translation, did I misread something? Is Kenissi an independent company from the Rolex group? I read in Le Temps it is, Chanel has some share in it, and a big sapphire maker is the biggest backer.
TBH, I have nothing about subcontracting (that is the way an industry work), but the 'in-house' marketing grates me a little.
