Just wondering if this is legit? If so any info greatly received.

Just perusing and came across this. I’m not interested in it particularly from a buying perspective, just noticed the omega emblem was very much different to any other I’ve seen. If it’s legit and there’s a back story to the design I’d be interested to find out.

My fathers old Geneve has the same logo - same watch except ours has a gold case but same dial same style hands and hour markers but again in gold - and the same logo and model designation - although the only difference besides the gold v silver is ours doesnt have the cyclops over the date - the watch is currently being serviced by Omega and is definitely genuine as father had it since new, dating to approx 1969.

Nice watch. I was just curious as I’m relatively new to the vintage stuff and haven’t came across one with this type logo. Thanks.
