Its a nice looking watch with some age. The Omega is printed on and the case seems to be a sealed unit only accessible through the dial. Any ideas?? Presume its an older fake piece?

I’m not familiar with these older pieces. But, someone will come along soon to advise you not to handle a watch movement with bare hands

No sorry it seems sealed!! Dont want to damage it.
The dial Omega and sign both printed on dial thats why i presume its fake.

It’s an unwritten rule of “car boot” threads that you write how little you paid for it :D

I too, tend to cross out a couple of 'zeros' when I gather how much I spent on watches at the end of a month

Fantastic find for £1, the bracelet is worth more than that! Which btw- love these rivet bracelets on almost anything.

It is NOT fake - please handle it with care as it seems to be in great shape :)

Omegas this old will always have a printed logo.

Is there are maker's name/logo on the bracelet?

Serial number puts it around 1938-39, so quite possibly it celebrated its 80th birthday this year. If you’d talked them down to 80p it could have been a penny a year :).

Holy Shit!! It’s a Gay Freres rivet bracelet. Dude, I don’t think you even know what you just got for £1
