Definitely worth taking it to a watchmaker who specializes in servicing vintage watches and getting an estimate for a "sympathetic" service (meaning to clean and service the movement, but taking care to preserve the vintage character of the watch). The hour markers almost certainly have radium paint based lume. As such, you should not open this watch on your own as inhaling or ingesting radium dust is hazardous to your health. Let a qualified watchmaker who knows how to handle watches with radium lume take care of it. There is no danger if the case and crystal are intact.
