·i've just got the Omega i was after, finally. a great new years gift to myself.
i was picky, and looked for a 12,2,4,8,10 honeycomb tresor in 18K and small seconds, and that combination was very hard to find (as an original). i was ripped off by an eBay seller before, that took responsibility and sent the money back (thank you guys for the advices!) and used the money (and more) to get a genuine one. it is a 266 cal, ref 2867.
i am super happy with it, and got it as a part of my slow-growing watches collection - but the intention is to wear it daily.
i'm attaching some pictures here, so you could enjoy this beauty too!
the two first ones are from my camera. the one that shows the tiny omega logo on the crystal is from my stereomicroscope (the lense is dirty, NOT the watch). the ones with the watch in hand and the one of the gold plated buckle are from my cellphone.
as far as i can tell, only the strap is aftermarket.
i really couldn't get any happier with this piece!
