Hi all, this is my first post as well. After owning several other brands I finally acquired my first omega. To be honest the modern seamaster with skeletonized hands just didn’t gel with me but then I found out these existed and I knew I had to have one. I was flipping between the 2255.80 or 2265.80 but it ended up being a price vs mechanical thing and I went with the more affordable option. I love how thin this watch is.

Welcome. Yes, much thinner than a PO. This is nice reference, sword hands and blue dial look great.

Enjoy!

It is actually slightly thinner than the 1120 Auto model too. The back is flat on the quartz and slightly proud on the Auto. It disappears on the wrist. I'm a fan but I've stupidly flipped two 2265s over the years. I had a serious SMP addiction at one point and am happily down to just 3 now.

👍 Great watch! Is this the "electric blue"?

Good to know about the different case back! I'm guilty of misinforming someone about this point. I was misinformed myself. Cheers.

Great looking Seamaster. I wish the current Seamaster had sword hands too but I think Omega was going for the 2541.80.00 aesthetic. I have a 210.32.42.20.01.001 and a 2230.50.50 currently and have had a 2236.50, 2262.50, and a 2264.50. I loved them all.
