That's actually a 2551800. The 2251800 has a different bezel, dial, hands etc.

Your watch looks well used, but otherwise fine from what I can see in the photos. I have no idea what these go for, so I can't comment on how good/bad the deal was.

    Cheers, Al

That's an excellent price. I paid 2600 last year. Mine was not as well worn, but I would have bought that one for 1100 any day of the week. For about $600 you can have Omega give it a full service and it will come back looking and operating like a new watch.

Seems like a good deal to me. Any functional, good looking mechanical should be worth your price IMO.

Did it come with box and papers or was it just the watch?

    Box only, papers gone.

Well, thanks for you comments, I was thinking about take it to full service for 300$ instead of 600. Eventually I said to myself that probably in 6 month I will sell it and buy different so it's kind of wasting money.
After I took this picture I took it for jewler to buff the scratches from the SS

Apologies for the thread resurrection but I've noticed another model with this same reference, seemingly a JDM version, 41mm and polished bezel. Did Omega use the same reference for different models here and in Japan?

No, the reference number is the reference number, so one reference number can't be for different details or different watches. But bezels often get swapped. I had what appeared to be a 25318000 come in for service late last year that was actually a 25328000 when I looked up the serial number. The only difference between the two is one uses the blue anodized bezel, and the other the polished one.

    Cheers, Al

    Al,
Many thanks and that makes sense. Weird though as I've seen a pic of the matching Omega card showing this ref and it's definitely 41mm not 36mm midsize. The Google hits suggest both sizes too. Oh well, probably best left alone.
