·Well yesterday my Tudor Black Bay 58 925 arrived and just about an hour ago I picked up my blue Pelagos.
First Modern Tudors Ive owned, I have had several vintage snowflakes and still have my green Tudor Tiger Chrono.
My collection has always been heavily weighted in dive watches so I guess they are my thing.
Ive always thought the idea of silver cased watch was interesting so I saw a Tudor up and grabbed it (I look forward to it getting a nice patina). I wore it to dinner last night on a dark green nato and really like it!
Well I loved the blue dial on the Pelagos and decided to snag one as well I don't think I have a blue dial currently in the collection (I had a PAM87D) and I love the other two Ti watches I have (IWC Aquatimer Chrono and MIH watch) so it seemed to be a natural fit.
Have had it on about an hour now and I am happy, it's a little heavier than I expected (movement) but it isn't a heavy watch and I find it very comfortable! I love the blue, I debated the FXD as Ive been wearing NATOs quite a bit recently and I rather no date on this type of watch but I did not like the blue of the FXD as much as the regular one and while I really like the bezel I just could not pass up the bracelet. IF they happen to bring out a FXD more like the one they actually sell to the navy Id buy it but I don't think that is going to happen.
Anyway here are a couple lousy pics but they are the best I have for now
