I purchased this JLC Master Ultra Thin new from an AD in the Virgin Islands about 10 years ago and before catching the Omega bug. It has been in the safe for almost 9 years. I went to the JLC website but all my searches were fruitless. If anyone knows about this JLC, I would appreciate help with any information about when it was manufactured, collectability or a website where I can dig into knowing more about it.

    Thanks in Advance!

Neat piece. I see one sold for @4500usd but that’s about it.

I like those. A bit small, but what a movement.

I'm sure JLC must have a reference service. Just use the Request services feature on the site. Given the constant flow of info I get as a two buy customer, I'm sure they'd be happy to rekindle your interest.

These date from the late 90's to early 2000s. There was a black dial and a silver dial version. There were also versions with and without sapphire backs (hence the '79S', which denotes a sapphire back). A very elegant dress watch; I've tried them before, but felt a bit insubstantial on the wrist.
