I bought this one a couple years ago I like it but it is 19 mm it’s ok on my 145.012 but a little gap
Great look ! So these never were wider then 19mm at the lugs originaly ? I checked the Ebay offerings and prices are even higher today.....
What are the rivets that need to be checked if these are still okay/firm ?

the 19MM end link was intentionally made for 20MM lugs of Omega ... referred to as the BREAK AWAY DESIGN POINT or FEATURE by the design engineers JB Champion USA working with NASA, if in case the strap gets caught / snagged it disengages easily to reduce harm to the Astronaut

I have multiple examples of both original and reproduction, and while I applaud what Forstner is doing ( and they’re a great company , with excellent customer service), the originals, from an objective standpoint, are just far better quality.

So it`s worth it trying to find an original you mean ?

It depends on your budget and level of commitment, Forstner makes a new wide version, which is 18mm width instead of 16mm. But, the ends are 22mm, so more potential for inside lug abrasion. It really all depends on your budget and what is optimal for your needs.

gonna post a thread dedicated to the topic alone
This would be a great resource. What you've done so far is superb. Maybe add a subcategory or link for wrist calendars, although that's TLIGuy's area of expertise.

Question: are the Repos spring loaded?
Me personally, I don't want spring loaded end links on any watch, especially a vintage Speedy, as they eat lugs. What are your thoughts?

And just rechecking the $$ I paid it looks like $140 was a great price. Thanks again guys.

Wow, a very comprehensive post. That was the post I was hoping to find when I started searching for information that is spread across many threads on the OF. Thanks for putting it all in one spot. That thread should be a pinned thread.

I put mine on a 145.022-69 220 bezel and will wear it for a while now.

I have a spring loaded one 21mm on a vintage watch with 22mm lug space and that works fine.
I think you have a good point with the Forstner ones which are 22mm spring loaded as per @M'Bob, inside the 20mm lug of a Speedmaster. Not sure if you can file down the Horned lug version for a better fit.
