This 42 mm model is crafted in stainless steel and includes a uni-directional rotating bezel with a grade 5 titanium ring, on which the diving scale is laser-ablated in positive relief. The dot at 12 o'clock is filled with white Super-LumiNova.
Blue aluminium is used to create the dial, which is laser-engraved with a wave pattern and features skeletonized, polished and faceted rhodium-plated hands, along with indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. The central seconds hand is also rhodium-plated, and the markings are transferred in white. The hour and seconds hands emit a blue glow in line with the indexes, while the minute hand emits a green glow in line with the dot on the diving bezel.

Finding it odd they say blue aluminum. I am certain it was black. It could be an ultra dark navy though and I just didn’t catch that in there. Maybe shows more blue outside in direct sun. I wouldn’t call the bracelet brushed either. It seemed shiny to me.

·I would have been happy if they released a non-Bond version of the Blue 60th Anniversary SMP300 with a thinner 13.8mm case, like the Anodized Aluminum Black/Mesh model. The fancy 007 case back on the 60th ups the case to 14.26mm and ups the cost by $2,100.
