Jaguar Smiths car clock repair

I am new to this forum and arrived here whilst searching for information on Smiths car clocks. There is an article somewhere on the site covering the restoration of a Jaguar clock which was useful, but is a number of years old. However this is a continual problem on these cars and I have added a small piece about painting the dials which had posed a problem. Due to its age I thought I would post this item to direct anyone searching in the future to my addition. Please excuse me if I have posted in the wrong place but could not immediately find the article in its entirety to see which forum it originally appeared on
