I think the put being expressed was, what you point into this forum is what you get out.

 

The only other post is from December where this user asked about a watch on eBay being sold by a pawn shop. Is this member the same pawn shop that sold the watch and was getting some free advertising? Hmmmm, only the Shadow knows!

As a noob, I find it fascinating who shows up here at OF, how they behave and what they want.

 

Wait til you put up with it for a few years and you'll be as grizzled, jaded, and tired of it as the rest of us.

 

I spent a decade on the BMW GS forum and more than that on the Miata forum, so I’m familiar with that fade out of amusement and sharpening irritation as one’s time passes on any forum. But this forum is something different, including in the nature of the detritus that washes onto this shore daily. It would be very interesting to see their faces.

Well some basic research should tell you something very very obviously wrong with this piece.

Since you want a free appraisal service and your a watch shop, should we offer something you would not offer for free? Give proof of a 20$ donation to charity and I’ll get you 1/2 way there. 100$ and I’ll give you a full history and tell you what is obviously an issue about this piece that you don’t know.

 

There is a chance that the most valuable part of this watch is the deployant buckle and strap...
