    Can anyone Id this movement it appears to be a 15 jewel from the 1940's or early 50's

    The movement appears to be a cal 480

    Any thoughts?

    Looks like a Cal 480, which would be a 17 jewel movement. These are far more common in the US LeCoultre models than the Jaeger-LeCoultre models.

    Not sue if this one was a US market model the marking inside the case back do not look like a US version
    Any thoughts?
