I might regret this one later but... up for sale is my nice early 60's JLC E853 Memovox cal 815. 馃榾
This one was fully serviced last month by Ashton Tracy at Precision Horology and has 2 years of warranty.
The dial: Vertically brushed dial in good condition. There is a small mark near the 1 o'clock marker. The 2 o'clock marker shows some oxidation and there is a stain at the edge of the dial from 2 to 3 o' clock. Handset is in good condition with signs of oxidization. Center Memovox wheel shows some light patina near the pinion. Radium lume plots intact.
The case: Sharp with original crowns and replaced crystal. Caseback has case opening marks.
The movement: Cal 815 fully serviced with 2 years of warranty running great with a strong alarm. Unfortunately no great movement photos available at the moment.
Overall a nice example of a more uncommon Memovox variant that wears great on the wrist.
Asking $3650 head only.
