I really liked this interview. Khorsandi's love and affection for vintage Omegas comes through very clearly, along with his palpable sense of enthusiasm. Plus there are so many lovely watches in the article that make for enjoyable viewing.

I'm sure many of us can identify with his vintage Omega affection / affliction! ;)

BTW, in the pic midway through, he's shown wearing a pie-pan Connie - which model is that?

Good point - I don't know! Would be pretty cool if he was already a member and contributing...

What I liked was, and I mean this with all due respect and affection, a lot of the watches they were talking about were surprisingly ordinary...

Ref. 14393, cal. 561 in probably 18k case.

PS: I thought about visiting the store when I was there last summer but didn't as I wouldn't think I'd find some great deal there. Maybe I should next time...

Dennis has purchased a couple of watches from him. He is also a good friend of Art, AKA, Dr. No of Purists.

Isn't that the same Dr. No here on OF?

Nice to know, but finding some good deal there is no longer important to me now.

In fairness, it was Sean who made me a deal on a pair of Deluxe Pie Pans. He no longer works for Jackmond, but the store is still doing well. I just wish they'd update their webpage quicker. Some of the watches listed have been sold long ago.
