Hey guys, from my personal collection I am selling this rare gem of the french airforce made in 1954. I got a batch of several Type 20 watches two years ago and this is the last watch of this project. All watches were used and marked of the C.E.V. The C.E.V. (Centre d’Essai en Vol) is the test flight centre of the french Airforce. Just a few of the Type 21 watches were issued to them. Pics of the whole batch you can see here: http://www.vintage-time.de/index.ph...-Fragen-und-Antworten/?postID=93862#post93862 Case: The chrome plated case is in great condition. Just 200 watches had a stainless steel case, so this is the "normal" version. It got new pushers and a new crown. The bezel is also in good condition and turns freely. The Requirements for a Type 21 chrono demands a size of 38mm without crown, so this is the size. Lug width is 18mm. The caseback clearly shows the CEV registration number 293. As u can see its done by hand. Some were marked by hand, some by machine (at http://www.vintage-time.de/index.ph...jemand-etwas-zu-sagen/?postID=93878#post93878 you can see more of the casebacks I got). Dial: Dial has some imperfection, color is a matte black The numbers still have their original radium. Hands: Original Type 20 hands, minute and hour hands are relumed. Movement: Movement is the Lemania 2040, which is the Flyback version if the more known and famous Lemania 15TL. It was just serviced by my watchmaker so it runs great. Since it's a rare C.E.V. marked Type 20 my asking price is 3.000€ 2.500€. The watch is located in Germany, but I can ship it worldwide. Watch comes head only. Cheers Nico
