    Hello

I have been offered this watch which is stated to be a early 1950s IWC. The dial photo does not do this justice. It is beautiful and opalescent. Can anyone point me to a source of quality info and/or express an opinion about this? I have havent managed to find much.

The dial appearance suggests a possible redial, but the quality of the writing and the complex nature of the texture makes this seem less likely. Case is SS although you cant tell from that photo FullSizeRender.jpg IMG_3510.JPG IMG_3509.JPG

I recall reading something less than positive about IWC' where the the "L" and "W" of "International Watch" touch each other...

Seconds track looks rather sloppy, too.

Thank you all. I kind of had the feeling but needed some help to keep my hand away from my wallet.

@georgeszaslavsky I am guessing you mean based on the dial?
