I recently purchased on OF a lovely jumbo cal 8541 watch from around 1967 as a birthday present for my son - but have decided to make it a high-school graduation gift (October here in New Zealand...). I have a modern IWC presentation box, but am hoping to find one more suitable to the period without a ginormous price tag...
If you have anything that might fit tucked away (and certainly doesn't have to be in pristine condition...) please do let me know... pic of watch below.
