Dear all,

I am working on an IWC Mark XII with the beautiful JLC 889/2 movement inside and I found out that the shaft of the pallet fork has a broken pivot.

Now the problem is that parts for these movements are incredibly difficult to find, and it is even more difficult to find a replacement pallet. I was wondering if you knew anybody here or among your contacts that I could inquire about this piece. Watch and I are located in Switzerland.

Another idea I had was to replace the shaft but that would entail looking for a pallet with a similar shaft and a lot of fine regulations needed on the escapement, probably with timing performances severely affected anyway.

Looking forward to your opinion.
