·I was personally noticing the visible stem next to the dial. It appears to me that the dial is too small?

I have two Cal 89s. The Mark XI.. for which prices have reached stratospheric levels, this I sent to IWC in Schaffhausen for service/certification. As for the Rose Gold dress piece, I had the movement oiled and cleaned by an independent watchmaker.

·I have the same shark fin model, though as you can see it's seen better days. Still keeps good time and, I think, looks cool. As does the mk11.
It was sent for a service at Schaffhausen before I bought it but I don't think the sharkfin will ever head in that direction, it would be very expensive.

I've seen these range in price from around $1500-1700 for fair examples to the mid-$2000s for good examples. I haven't seen any others in NOS condition, so I'm not sure what the going price would be.

·$1,500 to $2,000 for used models is the range I had in mind. However, I was curious to know the price of that watch in NoS condition. How much did you pay for it. No worries if you prefer not to share.
