UH OH. Had time to kill the other day so I stopped in at Burdeens in Arlington Heights. IL. Tried on some GS and a few SM300’s, then wandered over to the JLC section. Tried the green and gray dialed Polaris Date. Gotta say, I may need to accelerate my watch selling. These are just stunning in the metal. My watch addiction is still strong despite best efforts not to feed it but the big lesson is, sell to buy.

Great place to kill some time, Burdeens has one heck of a watch showroom!

The green one is amazing. I don’t own this (yet) but it was really nice

The dial colors got me hooked a few weeks ago. Pictures do not give the true image, and cannot allow you to feel the refined finish. Had to part with two nice watches to make the buy.

JLC is just amazing. The perfect union of art and engineering.

I'm not necessarily in love with everything JLC makes, but the Polaris is an absolutely stunning watch "in the metal". It is true that photos don't really do this timepiece justice. What a cracker!

JLC's in hand raise the lust of WIS. The finishing is just too good for the price range.

Once you get the itch it is impossible to ignore, must be scratched😊
Resistance is futile😁

How did you get that strap to fit? Was it a curved end or just curved spring bars?

And also, what a great strap it is. Manufacturer? Material? I'm too hesitant to venture a guess as to the material, but I've candidly never seen anything like it. Really unique and beautiful.

I had the strap custom made when I purchased the watch.
Curved end strap plus curved spring bars.

Thanks. It has been a challenge to find non custom straps for my Polaris that will fit the curve of the case.
