Today was the saddest day of my life. Damn COVID-19. The shelves were empty and I have family bottoms to keep clean so its come to this. Trading my mint 1968 Walt Cunningham signed Speedmaster with my neighbor for 2 rolls of toilet paper.

I hope this is over soon I only have a few more watches to trade.

We all need a little sense of humor right now so have a laugh. Be well all.

Your making light of this situation, never ever a speedy. Maybe just maybe a 8500 PO for the rolls as the 8500 is very unloved but soft cushion toilet roll is much loved.

A pro tip : follow these 5 steps on how to massively prolong the life of a toilet role (and try and keep the remainder of your Speedmasters)...

Step 1 : 1 block per ‘use’

Step 2 : fold neatly twice, so the block is quartered.

Step 3 : Tear off a corner.

Whats important in step 3 is choosing the corner which is in the ‘center’ of the square, and not losing that torn out bit. Step 4 and 5 shows why this is important.

Step 4 : ‘Sort out the bottom’

Step 5 : purge fingernail

Step 0 : convince the family this is THE way...

and

Step 6 : don’t forget your sense of humor...and stay healthy!

The problem @nonuffinkbloke is that most folks can’t buy TP as due to the squirreling frenzy of civilization shutting down, there is no more TP in supermarkets around the world (and I saw this secondhand in my city today for the first time)...

I was genuinely concerned for a moment because I hadn't looked at the photo...then I was pleasantly relieved to learn it was a joke lol beautiful speedy btw

As long as they are the double length 100% recycled rolls you'v done well. Standard length new is shitty paper.

A fabric handkerchief is used by some to wipe their noses. How about a fabric BUMkerchief. Wash after each use. Yecccch!
