    Hi all,

Just sharing my experience from today. I have had a planet ocean for a while but it has been unloved and locked away. The steel bracelet combined with the watch just stopped doing it for me. Based on some great posts on what is my favourite forum (this one) I popped into the OB on regent street London today and picked up my first new strap ever.

After watching a couple of you tube videos and getting help for my daughter I appear to have successfully fitted the blue strap. It is like having a new watch!

Happy with my collection. Please don't suggest how it could be enhanced :)

Regards and thanks for all the useful posts

    Josh

It looks great; congratulations!!! I have a black stitched strap for my Planet Ocean but as yet I really like it on the bracelet. At some point I'll want to switch it up I'm certain. I'm curious as to why you didn't like the bracelet? Actually trying to figure out when I'd use the band as the bracelet works well for the water and land. I like leather during the winter however. Maybe then for the strap as well.

I´m about to do the same thing. I Got an amazing deal on this orange/white and I also bought a set of black/orange ribber straps. I´m waiting on the black ones to arrive on Wednesday so I can make up my mind on which ones to use, but after wearing my speedmaster triple date for a month now, the planet ocean is like having a baby hanging from your arm all day.

I've always liked a diver on a leather strap. Makes the tool watch look dressed up and polivalent. It also gives the watch a second youth.

Nice shoes for your PO! It sort of refresh the entire look! Personally I prefer bracelet but I wouldn't mind swapping it out from time to time!

I love finding a great strap. I'm not a deployment guy, so a lot of the Omega OEM straps haven't found their way to my watches.

Man, the only thing that can get deployant straps off my watches is a Hirsch Pure strap. Or the OEM bracelet.

I had a really hard time doing this, but I finally did it. And indeed it's like having a completely different watch. I love the sporty look of it. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
