·Hi OF,
I'm having an issue with my Geneve Ref # 166.070 (Caliber 565 auto movement).
The seconds hand has pretty much stopped moving. No natural movement will get it going. When I wind the crown (no difficulty doing that) it moves the seconds hand forward slightly. Also, if I shake the watch that moves the seconds hand forward slightly. It's almost as if something is loose.
I can pull out the crown and set the time and change the date. No issues there.
The previous owner had the watch serviced in the past 12-months and I'm not aware of any damage/hard knocks to it whilst in my possession. Sorry that it's a bit of a vague description but any thoughts on what might be the issue?
