Hi! I got this watch from my late grandmother, Im just not sure if it is a real one. Im not looking to sell it, but just want to know how much care I need to take when wearing it or whether it's worth it to get the battery replaced etc.
Thanks in advance! Veronika

A nice little original ladies quartz.

First thing is to either:
Remove the battery if you aren't going to wear it
or
Get a fresh battery fitted if you'd like to wear it.

Leaving a dead battery in the watch usually destroys the innards as the flat battery leaks corrosive electrolyte.

Next, if you intend to wear it, remove the lug chewing spring end bracelet and fit a nice leather strap
