Hello there. I would be most grateful if anybody could give me some feedback on this particular watch. Its advertised as a Geneve, but has no such marking on the watch, nor the swiss made inscription usually found at the six indice. Was there such an original model with black indices and hands? Is the dial original.. Many thanks in advance for what I'm sure is a trivial and all too common enquiry. The watch is listed as - OMEGA Geneve Vintage Manual Steel Gents Watch 131.019 - Year 1970.

I can't answer your other questions - but the case looks to be heavily polished and the 'SWISS MADE' is hidden by the after market crystal.
(you can just see its distorted refraction in the first image)

Thanks for that! I was concerned that there case was to pristine, no marks at all. I don't want a tampered with watch with its character erased. Would you say that the heavy polish has affected the shape and contours of the case.

unfortunately, the sleep has polished away any marks - along with the original shape of the case.
you can see from this previous OF private sales thread what the case should look like - sharp with facets on the lugs

And a little extra nugget: The buckle is a well-known, pretty obvious fake. Which rounds off the picture of a watch that was prepared to look great to an untrained eye.
Avoid this watch - and consider avoiding this seller, too.

Also looks like the mid size 32mm version. Not a lot going for this one.
