Is this vintage omega (pie pan and seamaster 600) legit?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the world of Omega watches and recently bought a second-hand Pie Pan and Seamaster 600. While I believe these pieces are authentic (I haven’t noticed anything suspicious), I’m not very familiar with Omega watches and could use your insights to confirm their legitimacy.

I plan to have the movements checked the day after tomorrow, but I’m not sure what to look for to verify if they’re genuine. Could anyone guide me on how to identify a legitimate movement for these models?

Thanks in advance for your help, and have a great day!

Not the best photos, but I'm not seeing any obvious red flags.

Do you have any higher res photos?
The seamaster is likely cal 601

When you have the watches in-hand, post better photos, including of the movements, and we will be able to provide more guidance. IMO, it's pointless to speculate based on a few blurry photos, especially since you have already purchased the watches. If you have concerns, next time request good photos beforehand and post them for advice.

They both look good to my eye, but it’s true the pictures could be slightly higher resolution to fully assess the writing on the dial.

Both look pretty attractive IMO. Does the Seamaster 600 come with concentric rings on the dial? That’s a nice variation if it does.

Is this lume on the hands of the constellation? There is no T on the dial nor lume on the indices. There is plenty of “litterature” on variations so perhaps a bit of research to validate, or finding other examples that are original to validate.

Things to check once you open them up:
• movement inside
• serial number
• inside case back to verify the reference
Take pictures if you can and post them here for feeeback!

Welcome @amateuromega11
Good advice above all round.

Better (still) pics needed for the pie pan to be sure it is original.
However, from the pointed indices and lumed dial with no Ts it is likely a 14900 or early 167.005.
Either way, it should house a cal 551 chronometer rated automatic movt

ps
There is lume in the hands and indices but not on the quarters.
It has either been added to the indices or cleaned from the quarters or possibly supplied like this ( as you could tell the quarters easily from the lumed hands. )

Did Omega ever make an enamel dial Seamaster? That’s what it looks like. Connie looks ok. Bit polished but attractive.

Embossed plastic, IMO.
