I've moved it out into its own thread but yes it would be more convenient if people read the title of that thread. The watch itself does look authentic they're not hugely valuable but have a strong Calibre 565 movement in them and are good daily wearers.
How much is the seller asking? Is it running? Serviced? It takes some info to put a price on a watch, you'll have to get back with more. https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/
here is all specifications about watch: Sells this exact Omega Geneve watch from 1969. The watch is real and it includes both the certificate of authenticity and re-registration of the clock in the database to the new buyer. It is neat and well maintained and has recently been serviced. And got a new glass as well as brand new original Omega crown. The watch is gold plated. Caliber 565, uptime about 40timer price:1000 euro
Age alone does not make a watch valuable. There are lots and lots of old watches for sale. For a gold caped dress watch to fetch a price at €1000 it has to be a bit rare, sought after model, and in mint condition. hello! i am back. i have a new one. this in the description: A fantastic Omega vintage watch 1954 The clock is generally in a good condition with a nice patina, which gives the watch just the right vintage look, like a clock by 63 years in the business to have. The clock is of course mechanically and it goes as it should and keeps time! It measures 36 mm without crown, which is larger than most vintage watches, which makes it perfect if you find many vintage watches are too small. The clock is missing the small subsecond shows, but it is not seen clearly, and once you have it on your arm, puts you do not even notice it. Thus, it has no effect on the watch's functionality. The watch comes in a brand new and handmade leather strap in suitable brown color (not shown in the photos). Ref. No: 2750-6 Cal. No: 266 Year: 1954
Are you comfortable spending 400 euros for this watch. You also need to consider the cost of getting it serviced, since it is not mentioned in your post if it has recently been serviced.
