is this typical vintage lume or a bad relume?

I'm wondering if the lume on this Ed White is typical of the era or more likely relumed. It doesn't appear evenly applied to the markers but I lack the experience to know whether this is typical, other than looking at similar examples, some of which are likely relumes.

Search for wobbly and toothpaste lume, and see if you can study about 100 examples.

Having looked at quite a few Ed White dials I've seen some that look about like this, but I'm not sure how to tell whether the lume on those is original or they are relumes. I'm also wary of trusting what people say in advertisements, as they'll presumably tend to incline toward believing what they're selling is original. I'd say I'm reasonably certain it's original based on what I've seen but I have no doubt people here are much better judges than I.

thanks, those terms are helping me find a lot of comparable examples

agree, but: you can not test the lume -> a) you trust the seller or b) testing with UV-light direct with the watch in your hands

btw: the hands look OK ;-) (judged by the pictures)

Do you have it in your possession? If not, can you ask for a UV light video?

Looks OK, these of hugely magnified photos make it look worse than it actually is.

Looks original to me but you also need to consider it in relation to the watch as a whole. If other elements of the watch have been replaced or restored the chances of a redial increase. I don’t think that’s the case here though.
