I get what some members say when they refer to future prices. Not as criticism but as example, Tom Dick says, "...the price is what someone is willing to pay, was a 105.003 worth $10K+ two years ago? No! But it is now....." And, yes, true in hindsight - but to be clear, just as you would not value a business on possible future earnings I don't think an ambitious price can be justified in a similar manner. The question any astute buyer will ask is, does the price reflect its "current and true" value in relation to similar examples sold today? Personally I wouldn't pay more than between USD7500 - USD8500 (AUD11300) considering what I have seen of the seller's watch (and guaranteed that the bezel isn't even now mildly twisted ) and even then I need to be convinced as the presentation lacks something of conviction. Anyways, as for the asking price of USD13500 (AUD18000) I'll certainly leave that to those who have bigger and better crystal balls. 🙄

But never mind, you decided some time ago that I was here with the intention of scamming someone... keep going.

nope, j just think you have over priced something massively. I am sure you will deliver the watch. So I don't think you are a scammer. And also, I think this overpricing is out of character, based on other things you sell.

I am a trader and spend most of my days at the moment telling, or being told something is overpriced. Then discussing.

If you and I were across a table I doubt you would be wound up. No my real issue is your entrenched defence of the price without evidence.

Now the real question is this:

@Kwijibo : you are a collector, why have you not bought your friends watch if it is such a good buy? I am really curious why you do not buy it.

First of all, I agree with al128, let the market decide the price. I am a trader too for many many years so I know at what price can a speedy sell. I sold yesterday a 105.012 for 8000 euros for instance. And if you and I were around a table, I'm sure that we wouldn't behave like stupid kids and that you would agree on the beauty of this watch not seen often.
As for buying it myself, may be it's just that I'm not that wealthy to buy it. I agree with a thing : that is a lot of money. If intended to buy it I would offer him 9500 euros I think. I decided to sell all my speedies execpt my 1971

I found this thread researching the topic of reluming, and now after reading through it I feel like I just watched all six (seven?) seasons of the sopranos in one sitting...

Hello scbr215

The watch is sold for a long time. it was sold 9500 euros. It was definitly not a relume according to every one that saw it IRL.
