Is this a fake vintage seamaster? I noticed that the S in Seamaster does not look like the typical coat hanger hook. Thank you for looking. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Aut...id=100040&rk=4&rkt=4&mehot=es&sd=361994645697Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hi! Welcome! Please tell us your first name, say hello to us, and ask for assistance. That should hopefully include a sentence or two stating what you think about the watch. FWIW, that type of S is valid.
Hi BlackTalon, My name is Eric. Very new to omega and vintage watches and interested in making my first entry. Love the old seamaster look but want to make sure I am not getting scammed! Have found several resources online to validate, but trust the experience on here probably more than anything. Thank you for the reply.

Watch seems authentic and a decent daily wearer to me. I've dealt with closer0924 before and he's a good guy.
That's a nice watch and not expensive. One might turn up cheaper from a private seller but for a dealer the price is very fair. Obviously there are dispatch and customs costs to allow for but this would be a good first watch, and the "peace of mind" premium is acceptable here IMO.
I've changed the title to a question as it sounded rather accusatory as it was when the watch isn't fake by any means.
