Is this omega 2605 a franken

Watching this watch on ebay, quite interested due to gilt hand and suveran look dial but watch case carry reference 2605-1 which dates to 1951 but serial number (11779633) dates to 1947. Is this a franken?

Serial number lists for Omega are less accurate the farther back you go. I have a watch that one source says 1910 by serial and another source says 1917 by when the very rare movement was introduced.

I think 11.7 million reference is just fine with 1951. I use this table and find it very useful:

But I don't quite see why/how you date the case exactly to 1951.

Dial size fine to my un-informed mind,

Wrong dial for the case as I suspected. This gap should not be there, the dial should come all the way to the edge of the bezel.
