Is this normal

Six months ago I bought my first "real" watch that I love. Meaning I had a real feeling for it.

I then ended up here and read a lot. I don't have to tell you what started happening inside me.

I have since bought a Speedmaster which I will still post about in another thread.

Pictured is my Seamaster which is that first watch that I mentioned, bought second hand.

The fact that it is a quarts bothers me. Why? I love the looks of the Seamaster. But being quarts just does not feel right.

I am considering "upgrading" to a new automatic version.

Also the new ceramic etc.

Hence the question: Is this normal?

Normal.

Give in to it and you are in trouble.

Especially if on your first wife.

I have the identical watch, along with a few others that are manual.

I like to have both, depending on what going on, I may or may not be able to wear a watch, and I may only be able to wear a quartz not an auto. So both fill a need.

Pluses for the quartz are that it's always running and accurate, which comes in handy at the bench following the servicing of a customers watch, or to check up on one that I am monitoring.

Keep this one, and pick up another (your going to end up with a few anyway...)
