Hello,

I have a Pre Seamaster DeVille and I noticed than the crown can be tilted on the side when pulled out from the case, like this:

I pulled it out completely to see what's happening and the junction between the crown and the female stem is not fixed, the male stem can be tilted in every direction inside the crown. It won't turn inside, however, so it has no incidence in winding and setting the time. Is this an usual thing with these crowns?

Thank you!

It is the two piece stem that causes that. Particularly if the crown is a loose fit on the case tube.

Thank you for your answer. So nothing to worry about?

I have a mid 60's Seamaster Deville that has the same issue. The crown only seems to "wobble" on the stem when I set the time but it hasn't caused any issues so far.
