Hello!

I'm looking for a solid gold Geneve with baton indexes, black hands and a cal. 1030 and I found this one:

Does it look genuine to you? Does it look refurbished?

Also, I found that one:

It looks like the same model but the crown is different. Also, it looks quite dull in comparison with the other one, especially the dial. Does it mean that the dial of the first one will look dull in real life? What are my chances to find the same watch with a silver dial?

Thanks!

Please dont take Offence, but The Geneve Line during this era were considered entry level watches from Omega - so why do you want 18k gold in this range?

Or put another way, why not get a nice 18k vintage constellation or seamaster From the 50 or 60s instead?

I won't take offence. 馃榾

I'm not looking for a 18kt gold but a 9kt gold. I just like this particular line and it seems they were 9kt gold watches.

Thank you! Do you think the dial looks crisp like this in real life or dull like the other one?

Seems like it'll look fine.

The first dial is far and away nicer than the second and should brighten up considerably out in natural light. Can you ask the seller to snap a pic for you in the sun to ease your concerns? I wouldn't even touch the second one, the dial finish is starting to wrinkle and will only degrade at an ever-increasing rate until it needs a new dial or refinishing.
First one may have had a light polish and brushing to the back, hard for gold to keep the brushing for very long if it's been worn. Doesn't appear over-polished tho. The second one seems to have slightly rounded lugs, so has seen more use in every way.

I will ask for a shot in the sunlight. Thank you!
