Is this gap normal, or my watch is damaged?

Hi.

I just noticed that there is a gap between my watch case and bezel. The gap is only present on one side, it fits perfect on the other side. Is it normal or is the watch damaged. If it is damaged, should i be worried about any dust or contamination getting into the mechanism itself?

Thank you!

That gap is there to allow a watchmaker to remove the bezel. It is a little wider on some watches depending on the specifications and the number of times it was used in the past.

Perfectly normal.
