Is this De Ville legit?

Hello lovely watch people,

I was hoping someone can help me with clarifying if this De Ville is fake or partly fake.
I've bought this on eBay and naive as I am, I didn't even think that someone could fake old omegas...
It was sitting a while in my watch box because turned out to be too small for me. Now I am thinking to sell it and someone pointed out, that it looks off (especially the movement).
If someone who has more knowledge in that area could help me out, I would be really thankful.

Thank you already in advance.

Looks like a genuine but low quality watch from the dark days of the late 70’s/80’s

Thank you for the reply. Good to hear.
May I ask what you mean by "dark days"?

When quartz watches came out in the 70’s, it hurt the traditional watchmaking industry as the newer technology was cheaper and more accurate.
As a result, many traditional watchmakers went bust, some tries to compete by compromising on quality to cut costs (Eg Omega, with watches such as yours) and some recognised that the future was leaning into mechanical watches being more expensive and exclusive.

Ah, you mean the quartz crisis. I thought it was something specifically about Omega. Thanks for the explanation. 👍
